Tekken Adaptation Casts Jet Li
According to Joystiq, martial-arts prodigy Jet Li has been cast as “the boxer” in the video-game-to-film adaptation of Tekken. Charles Stone, director of Drumline & Mr 3000, is set to direct the movie, which “also features Vicky Zhao (as Ling Xiaoyu), a rising Chinese star”. With a great cast and an enormous fan-base, there’s a decent chance this film will be more successful than either the Doom or Dungeon Siege video-game adaptations.

JET LI IN TEKKEN.
Jet Li is to star as The Boxer, that’s ****,Li would play Kazuya as the lead
fighter joining the rest of the fighters in the Tekken Tournament aka The King Of Iron Fist Tournament.Vicky Zhao,Ho Sung Pak,Nathan Phillips and the cast will be sign up for the film.
There will be more news on Tekken soon with the shooting locations and
the storyline to follow up to the game.
I hope Junkie XL and Ben Watkins will work on the music as the film is made and in post production then the movie soundtrack will have the music something like techno and electronic.The music is just the suggestion.
Lets keep our hopes for the Tekken movie as the film goes in production
in the next upcoming months.

i think jackie chan would be good for lei, shame about bruce lee as he would make a cool law, man it’s going to be mint!!!
As per Liam Wootton, Bruce Lee would have made a great Law, but to add on to that, maybe casting Jason Scott Lee as Law, as Im sure you will remember, Jason Scott Lee played Bruce Lee in the Dragon:The Bruce Lee Story, and if I remember correctly, he played the role pretty well.
And maybe cast Ronaldinho as Eddy, those moves on the soccer pitch would sure work on kicking some serious *** in the movie.
TEKKEN MOVIE PLOT.
The movie of Tekken centres around Jin Kazuma and his past about fighting the ghost,now he enters the Tekken Tournament.Has Ridinoff must change the script and work on the storyline from Tekken 2 to put into the movie and it needs to be focus on Kazuya Mishima fighting at the Tournament known as Tekken:The King of Iron Fist Tournament.
The script needs to be series and not cheesy **** and Charles Stone should leave the directing and work on rewriting the script again.
Charles Stone should do another video game movie with Time Crisis with Tekken movie producers Crystal Sky to produce Time Crisis movie if the movie deal comes out.Simon West could do Virtua Fighter movie out of the Sega video game series to make it loosey.

Ok I’ve seen a teaser trailer thingie of Tekken the movie. Looks kewl so far, and if Im not mistaken Jackie Chan is set to play Lei. I dont know any of the other actors that are in there. But most of them actually look just like the characters in the game. Well except for Heihachi, he looks like a younger version of Mr Miyagi.
The only person good enough to play Eddy is Lateef Crowder. He’s like the Bruce Lee or Tony Jaa of Capoeira and no one deserves the role more than him.
i think russel wong would be a gud character for kazuya, jackie chan for lei
& for heihachi how about the guy who played in last samurai as one of tom cruise’s co-actor also for brian my first choice was dolph lundgren but since he’s too old how about jason stathom.
