Pre-order The PS3 In Germany for $765

MediaMarkt, the German mega-retailer, is now taking pre-orders for the PlayStation 3 60GB version for just €600 (US$765). Because the pre-order includes a game with the PS3, it’s hardly a bad deal, considering the over-inflated prices, topping $1,000, that we saw for the Xbox 360 console alone. Apparently the choice of games is limited to Formula 1, Motorstorm, SingStar, or Genji 2. DigitalBattle reports that Play.com offered a pre-order for the PS3 and 3 games for over $1000 USD earlier this month. Thus $765 for a PS3 + 1 game seems like a rather frugal plan.

I have made a few posts about pricing on the ps3 at my blog but I didn’t hear about this pre-order price. I don’t know if a game included is that great of a deal but its a start! Do you think they should add in any extras for the ps3 as an incentive to get more buyers interested?
