Does anybody else think this is just a fanboys dream? I mean come on, after Sony confirming PSOne emulation for the PSP in an attempt to keep maddening sony fans quiet for an extra month or two after PS3 missing it's worldwide launch date, do you really think that PS3 could feature downloadable PS2 games! Let's think back, to the nostalgic days of SNES, Mega Drive, etc. If you look into it you WILL realise that many companies continue to produce top-quality games on their older platform years after the release of the newer platform comes out, some of which can rejuvenate sales. If sony implemented this prior to the release of the console itself, it surely it would have to count it's losses in the sales of PS2 games, period. Also, it would hardly be a move to rival Nintendo's Wii, because of many factors including; still being able to walk into your video game store and purchase PSOne games, whereas this is not the case with the NES, SNES ,TurboGrafx, etc. Not to mention the large difference in time between the NES to Wii period, as to PS1 to PS3 period, as the Wii would attract a wider ''adult'' audience, whereas I can still play my PSOne, and PS2 games, on my PS2, not to mention the PS3 itself! Sorry to go on, but I had to express my thoughts on Sony about this.
