Nintendo Monopoly: Collector’s Edition is a quintessential board-game for all video-game lovers that features a potpourri of Nintendo characters, nostalgia, and themes.  To be released in July 2006, you will be able to relive the memories using a metalloid icon (either Mario’s hat, a Koopa shell, a NES controller, a Donkey Kong barrel, Link’s shield, or Link’s boots).

Despite the mildly irritating fact that these 6 icons hardly encompass the timeline of Nintendo products (honestly, where are the Metroid and Pacman tokens?), it’s bearable, knowing that this is merely a prototype.  You can view more prototype photos here.  Furthermore, USAopoly has their Nintendo Monopoly: Collector’s Edition available for pre-order here.
