Anonymous Game Developers Interactive (AGD Interactive) have successfully given a make-over to the first two installments of the legendary King’s Quest series. In their remakes, they have enhanced the graphics from 16 colors to 256 colors and chose a resolution of 320×200, which provides a feeling accurate to the classic. In addition to graphical changes, the entire plot for both King’s Quest 1 & 2 have been altered, and a music and speech pack have been created to enhance the experience. While still point-and-click adventures, allow me to make a short caveat: if you’re looking for creations true to their classics, look elsewhere; these remakes are refined products designed by modern standards.
