There's just something <em>empowering</em> about a keyboard setup as opposed to trying to get around and blow dudes up with a dinky controller. Don't get me wrong, HL2 is awesome, as are pretty much all source-based games made nowadays, but I think a bit of the awesomeness lies in the versatility of the keys/mouse input (ie it's easier for me to get around, kill guys, and get away, I guess). But thats just my 2 cents. /end off-course rant.
