Guitar Hero 2 Songlist Revealed
Electronic Gaming Monthly gave the scoop on some of the new features of Guitar Hero II in this month’s issue. New songs include:

I like the fact that there is a bit more classic rock… and the fact that alot of the songs on this game i can play on real guitar…
those songs i can play in real life beast and the harlot i cant play

They need Danzig’s Mother
Metallica aren’t the easiest band to work with when it comes to song rights — they only joined the iTunes generation about a month ago. I wouldn’t be surprised if rights issues had a fairly significant bearing on the song choices.
Personally, I wish the tracks weren’t all so RAWK. A little bit more of a mix would be nice. Though I have to admit, it is amusing to hear my 5-year-old hum along to “Smoke on the Water.”
I have to say I am so incredibly happy to see Rev. Horton Heat on the list. Its good to have a song that isn’t so rockish to put in the mix. Also, Psychobilly Freakout is almost entirly a really fast solo. It should be a fun challenge. I recommend that anyone who has not heard it, to listen to a sample on iTunes or something.

well im not surprised that led zepplin isnt on there. they are really strict with there copyrights. to get immegrant song on school of rock jack black had to record a special message begging them to let him use it. I would like to see some radiohead that would kick ***.

that list sucks big time! No AC/DC,KoRn,Metallica,or anything!most of those songs are WAY too easy to play(well atleast for me they’re easy to play)

yeah, i have the game and, it rocks i recommend it.
i play guitar and i can play most of the songs listed by ear, but playing on the game is a lot different, it adds a harder aspect, i can’t explain it.
they left out a coupla songs, here they are!

you can buy songs to play witha freind, he did not include the songs you can buy in the shop, he kinda mislead ya a little bit, check out the game it rocks!

they need some Ac/Dc because there some good rock to play or some more Black sabbath like Mr. Crowely or some Metallica like Enter Sandman and of course some rock gods like van Halen and some Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin
