Nooo!

First of all why would they get the creator of Jason X to do the project? That is the worst idea ever. Although I liked the 3rd game I dont think it deserves a movie. I would LOVE to see the the first clocktower game turned into a movie with young jennifer and her orphanage friends trapped in the castle

Clock tower 3 was an AMAZING game, and recently I was thinking they should make a movie out of it...and then I found this :O

I just can't wait...Really.Production started 2 years ago so hopefully it will be out not too far in the future. I'd love to see who played corroder...They'd need to hire a lunatic to copy that psycho >_> Same with Sledge...

Anyone have ANY hints at all when this will be out?I would seriously go outside of a movie theater NOW and wait however long it takes to see this.I'm sure it will be BEYOND epic.

I agree in that this movie is going to flop horribly with the exception of persons who enjoyed the third game. The very first clocktower for the SNES, and the Clocktower for the PS have all the elements for a perfect horror story. Clocktower 3 brings in weird, mystical, Sailor Moon-type elements, that just completely destroys the realistic feel of a horror/survival game.

Seriously, Jennifer and Helen didn't have a magical bow to kill Scissorman in the first games. They dealt with realistic environments, using whatever she could find whether it be a fire extinguisher...a ladder. I mean, sure, there were ghost children and towards the end you have to banish Scissorman into some weird portal because he was a demon child, it was these common day objects that made the player really feel like you were fighting for the character's life.

But to go into the weird story line of Clocktower 3. I mean come on...the whole game was just an onslaught of weird bosses, leading to some power hungry big guy at the end. How overdone is that? Clocktower I and II had a great background story!

To introduce the gaming series like that with the third title is a big mistake. It's also going to make it nearly impossible for movies to be made for the I and II clocktower once the third game is introduced to the public. Seriously, how are you going to go from some weird sailor moon, mystical, rip off to a more realistic experience for the audience. The connection to the audience isn't going to be established as well with the Clocktower 3 plot. How many of us have magical powers to banish evil? Not many. But how many of us are capable of taking a fire extinguisher and bashing the bad guy over the head with it? -- just about everyone.

The decision to make the clocktower movie based off of the third game's plot is indicative that any movie sequels, if made, will not return to the first or second game's plot, as the third game had absolutely no relation to the first and second. It was just a creative exploration with the series title slapped on it. Unless they name this movie Clocktower, and make ones for the I and II titles called "Scissorman," then the movie audience is going to be just about as confused as the gaming audience was when they picked up the third title, expecting a great continuation of horror/survival with lots of blood and gore.

Me and my friend played this game one summer and loved it. I never played the earlier versions of Clock Tower, but after playing CT3, I would'nt mind playing the earlier versions (Even though I'm a huge critic of graphics and I've heard ther earlier CT weren't so great) I nearly fell out of my chair when I heard about the making of a CT movie. Now, I said I never played the earlier CT1 or 2, but I've heard of the storyline. I would love to see a movie on CT1 than 3 in some ways. I seriously look forward to see who will play who in this movie. I can't really imagine who would play Alyssa...

no no no no no way why can't they base it on the old SNES clock tower or even the first one on ps1 AKA clock tower 2 on japanese version
sorry hated clock tower 3 one thing that pissed me off was the whole scissorman and woman thing but overall I will see this movie becuase of my love for clock tower even though I didn't like 3 so hope it's good though if only the actual creators of the game made the movie wouldn't have anything to worry about but I wonder if they are going to use scissorman and woman or are they going to mix it with the classic one and use original scissorman never know they might mix it up like they did with silent hill movie
