According to this post on SteamPowered, they’re having a holiday sale with big savings! The Eidos holiday pack is 10% off, ET: Quake Wars is 25% off, COD4 10% off, the Orange Box 25% off, and Red Orchestra 50% off!
All games are on sale, according to the official announcement:

Black Friday (Ads) Cometh
Throughout history, many unusual events have occured on Black Friday:
In contrast to all the horrors that have plagued the Friday immediately following Thanksgiving Day, contemporary Black Fridays symbolize the point in the year that retailers start making net profits. Because profits are denoted in accounting by Black, and deficits by Red, it follows that this day be called Black Friday. With all this having been said, expect to see many different sales ads, like Best Buy, CompUSA, Sears, Target, JCPenney, Walmart, etc., for Black Friday 2007.
Toys-R-Us Video-Game Sale!
This week is a good week for gamers, because Toys-R-Us has a fantastic “buy 2, get 1 free” deal (no coupon required) on all of their video-games. Because common sense isn’t always common, they specify that the free game will be the one whose price is the lowest. Even better, this sale is available in-stores and online, and runs from today till next Saturday, October 20. Quantities are limited, so it’s probably better to buy sooner than later!
PS3 Bounty: $1200 per Playstation Three
Sony’s Jack Tretton famously said in an interview with EGM:
If you can find a PS3 anywhere in North America that’s been on shelves for more than five minutes, I’ll give you 1,200 bucks for it. I can get any retail buyer on the phone with you and get them to verify that there’s not a single retail location in America where there’s a PlayStation 3 on the shelf for sale. They’ve all been sold in a matter of minutes.
