SimCity DS Screenshots!

Sometime next month in Japan, SimCity for the DS will be released! However, there is no listed release date for the American version, which is a little dissappointing. Even if all they told us was that they would begin development on such-and-such a date, or were ever planning it in the future, I would be content. Let’s hope this one isn’t just a Japan-exclusive for the Nintendo DS. Check out the exquisite screens below:

Official Nintendo DS Lite Headset

Not only is Nintendo set to release a new color of their DS Lite portable, the “Jet Black”, on September 2, but they also have developed a “DS microphone/earpiece combination” that is due out on September 14. Estimated prices are about $10 USD, and rumor has it that this new piece of hardware will be compatable with the upcoming Pokemon Diamond/Pearl.
Final Fantasy 3 Date: Confirmed
Sure to appeal to all suffering from a slight case of nostalgia, the remake of Final Fantasy 3 for the Nintendo DS has been officially set for release on August 24 in Japan, costing 5,980 yen (53 USD). That being said, FF3 will be the most expensive game on the DS market. Digitalbattle speculates that since “the U.S. and European dates and prices have not been set, [i]t’s expected the game will ship early September.”

New Super Mario Brothers for Nintendo DS!

12 delightful images of the immensely-anticipated Nintendo DS hit New Super Mario Bros have been posted at OnNintendo.com. Apparently there are many multiplayer mini-games, some of which you might recognize to be similar to those found in Super Mario 64 DS. With Koopalings to boot, this is definately a must-buy for the DS! New Super Mario Bros. is currently scheduled for release on May 15 (North America)— June 30 in Europe.
