Ocarina of Time in 2D!
DigitalBattle has the word that the fan remake of the legendary N64 classic The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time in 2D has made progress. The news come from a thread at SomethingAwful forums, which states:
Daniel Barras, an old friend of mine, has announced that Release Candidate 1 of OoT2D will be released soon. He’s waiting on his laptop to be airmailed to him (and he probably needs to put a couple finishing touches on it).
The game is basically the 2D translation of Ocarina of Time for N64. It will include everything from the original game, and i BELEIVE he was intentionally coding in the glitches found in 1.0 gold cart, but i’m unsure if this will still be a feature. It will also include a special dungeon and 3 extra items (i think it’s armor, boots, and another sword. The only thing i can say for sure is the armor).
Regardless of whether this project to remake the classic Zelda game is real or not, the screens still look great. Check them the screenshots below:

I'm a little daunted at learning a brand new software - as I enjoy using b2D/b work using traditional media, or with Photoshop, but I can use this previous experience to create interesting textures and scenes in the city. b.../b - Vi minns Super Mario 64

I hate to give everyone the bad news but this game isn’t going to be finished the creator Richard Denton died march 21st at the age of 15 in a Car accident feel Very bad for the family

Okay, I don’t know, I always thought this game was a just a hoax using Photoshop, and the Death is just covering it up.
I’m sorry, but sometimes you can’t believe everything you read… Where is the proof that he died?

Obviously he didn’t die and these are just fake pics… come on man… everybody can make this with the help of some SNES-rom screenshots. Open your eyes: the game was never being made.

It was in production. It was being made with RPG Maker 2000/2003. Have any of you even seen the YouTube videos?

The game was being made, my brother found a demo of it which he downloaded and works, so i believe that it was just given up on, due to the complicatedness of the project. there are several demo’s that can be downloaded and found by searching throuh google.

why can’t they just released what he’s already done and let someone else finish it off. they can even shove in a tribute to dampe and have the sprite waving in the gave yard. that’d be cool.
