Empire at War: Expansion?

A developer’s rumor is floating around the LucasArts Forums that an expansion pack for the Empire at War, a RTS game, is possibly in the making.  I think it’s too soon for an expansion, since Empire at War was only released a few months ago.  After all, more time between an original game and its expansion equals more suspense, and more suspense means more demand.

Hello? Stop and think about it. IF an expansion comes out and IF they’re working on one, it probably won’t come out until christmas 06 or later. Making games (even expansions) takes time. It’s not as if the expansion will come out tomorrow jackass.

I spect the reason they are leaking news is so that there is a load of hype about it and even more demand (think back to the second Death Star). After all, many Bothans died to bring us this information.
