PS3 Could Feature Downloadable PSone, PS2 Games

According to GamesIndustry.biz, Sony is thinking about enabling their PS3 with a digital distribution service that will allow users to download PSone and PS2 titles on their PS3, a move that would rival Nintendo’s downloadable back-catalogue plans for the Revolution. “Unnamed sources claim that Sony has been discussing the technical requirements needed to provide this service, and in turn, investigating the possibility of remastering select PS2 games so that latter parts of a game can be streamed over a network while earlier segments are being played. It comes as little surprise that Sony is interested in jumping on the digital distribution bandwagon, but the company will have to overcome some hurdles if the effort is to come to fruition.”
What Video-Game Character Am I?
Apparently I am a Pacman Ghost:

I am a Pacman Ghost.
I like to hang around with friends, chatting, dancing, all that sort of thing. We don’t appreciate outsiders, and do our best to discourage others approaching us. I enjoy occasionally wandering around randomly, and often find that when I do so, I get to where I wanted to be. What Video Game Character Are You?
This has to be possibly the coolest online survey ever. It manages to dig deep into your personality without posing horribly blunt questions, and I didn’t feel emo taking it! Plus it allows you to give as many answers as you want, or none at all!
Rumor: Xbox 360 Getting Free 100 GB HDD

The latest 360 rumor, spun by a Best Buy employee who works at a store in New Jersey, is that the premium Xbox 360 pack is getting an upgrade in April:
Apparently, at the start of April, Premium packs will start shipping with 5x the HDD size of their predecessors. Cool for those who are about to buy a 360; very uncool for those who already picked theirs up.
The fact that the Xbox 360’s free upgrade is scheduled for April does not give it credence, and I doubt that this will amount to nothing more than an April Fool’s joke. But hey, let’s hope for the best!
New Tomb Raider Legends Trailer
Eidos has released another trailer for Tomb Raider Legend on the game’s official site. Crystal Dynamics, the developer, has vowed to bring the game back to its ground-breaking roots, and hopefully they’ll deliver an adventure worth remembering for Lara’s 10th anniversary.

Legend hits the Xbox, PS2, and PC on April 11, with PSP and 360 versions to follow.
