2006 the Year of the Mac Gamer?
![]()
With the Mac now integrating Intel CPU’s into their mainframe, they are making enormeous leaps into the mainstream of the tech spotlight. However, the Mac will need to be compatible with far more games to attract the market of gamers. But will any game-developers take a risk on making a top-notch, or even better exclusive, Mac title? It’s hard to imagine, considering that the majority of gamers have PCs. But I am optimistic that this is the year that Mac’s vicious “no-gamers-yields-no-exclusive-games” cycle will crumble in the light of Intel’s addition to the Mac’s configuration.
